Wine labels play a big part in the psychological game of reaching out to the consumer and tempting you to buy. Often the style, the character, the font and the wording all try to create an emotive response that give you a level of comfort that your purchase will not go unrewarded, especially in a market where you can not always try before you buy.
Dunsborough Hills have gone the other way and kept with a very simplistic label which I actually really like.
The wine on the other hand is quite complex. Heavy spice with lots of pepper, but not so bold that you feel like your being run over by a steam roller.
A fantastic Margaret River Shiraz, especially for the price (~$20 from Dan Murphys).
Would go well with a minted rack of lamb, potato dauphinoise and wilted spinach!
This is certainly a contender for my Top 10.
