The Jester was on sale for $19 from Dan Murphys this week so I decided to give it a bash.
I love how the authors of the back label use such emotive words to sucker you into the wine. This one talks about how the grapes are hand picked into small crates and air dried to create a complex structured wine.
Unfortunately what I got was a very light Cab Sav from Mclaren vale that was lacking in any real body or distinction.
Its one of those wines that you drink, but don’t really notice. All in all a very forgettable experience.
Top marks to the poets who crafted the back label!
