Hewitson ''Miss Harry'' 2006 Dry Grown Barossa Blend

The Hewitson Miss Harry 2006 is made up of equal parts Grenache and Shiraz with a splash of Mourvèdre to balance the two out.

Bright red in colour with a purple hue and the smell of sweet strawberries. Not my usual style of wine but a fantastic drop.

The Shiraz and Grenache complement each other well with the taste of concentrated fruit. Its one of those wines that lingers on the tongue long after you’ve swallowed.

$24 from Vintage Cellars. Would go well with BBQ Pork Ribs.

In Summary ...
Vintage: 2006
Variety:
Region: Barossa Valley (SA)
Rating:
Verdict: Not my usual style of wine but a fantastic drop.
